Municipal Alpujarreña House Museum 

Ethnographic museum. Typical traditional Alpujarreña house in relation to the distribution, furniture, utensils and decoration. It has objects and ancient basic tools that they own or that have been donated by the neighbours of the village. More than 500 elements related to the traditional life in the village. A press and many necessaries and tools can be found.

Oil Museum. Traditional Agriculture Museum. 

Oil mill built during the Nasrid period. It preserves the machinery. In the hall, there is a carriage patio, where some buckets for the olive are prepared. It has a human mill of Roman origin.

Agricultural Tools Museum 

Wine cellar-Museum El Lagar of the Ceheli, where farming tools are exhibited.

Esparto Craftwork and Agricultural Costumes Agustín Neguilla Museum  

It exhibits different esparto pieces: agricultural utensils, clothes, natural size figures (people, famous people, animals…), together with a collection of old objects related to daily life and agricultural works (farming tools).

El Pradillo Museum

It exhibits reproduction of the oil paintings of the Padro Museum from painters such as Goya and Velázquez. These are works of a famous copyist from Toledo who lived half a century ago. Don José Antonio Jiménez Tovar donated them.

Photographic Museum 

It has more than 600 photographs in black and white and colour photograph from the Alpujarra. They are the work of the journalist Rafael Vilches. They reflect the architecture, gastronomy, folklore, culture, legends and countless characters from the different towns of the Alpujarra.

Historic Museum of the Alpujarra: Farming and Popular Costumes 

It is located in a house of the 17th century. 7,000 old objects of all kinds are preserved together with newspapers and documents related to the region, photographs, etc. One of the rooms shows a reconstruction of the National School that existed here (with a toys collection). Another room reproduces a typical Arabic-Andalusian room with clothes and weapons of the time.

Cultural Heritage Centre Alpujarra

It exhibits a collection of a wide range of farming tools related with the popular historic costumes (movable property of the Agroindustrial Heritage and the traditional architecture). Ethnographic collection of usages and popular costumes from the family of José Antonio Jiménez Tovar.
